| | Absolutely brilliant! I used to watch the show Yes, Minister (I believe the clip here is from the later show, Yes, Prime Minister, which I unfortunately never had time to watch) and immediately appreciated the incomparable skill of the writers in fashioning the dialogue. I was always amazed how they managed to end every episode with Humphrey saying, "Yes, Minister," often giving it a new meaning each time, and yet making it a funny line in its own right, even (or especially) when you saw it coming.
As for the present clip, I seriously doubt whether an "Objectivist comedian" would do it any differently or better. Not only is the point that government direction stifles individual initiative made here, but the actual arguments used to support this idea are wonderfully shown for the patronizing dictatorial rationalizations they are.
