| Description 16-year-old (as of October 2, 2005) studying in a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bangalore, India. I first read The Fountainhead at age 14, and life has never quite been the same. I can't say that it has influenced me completely, that is, it just helped to marshal my confused thoughts - meaning I already had those thoughts before. One of my friends said:
"and then...that book. You read that stupid old book, and your whole world changed. From a person who used to eat well, for heaven's sake, and who used to always be in the first three ranks, to somebody thin and gaunt and hollow cheekbones and staring eyes!!" and et cetera.
