Description

I have been immersed in Objectivism since around 1978, when I read Atlas Shrugged. I am no longer an Objectivist, having recently converted to Unitarian Universalism, but I remain a stalwart friend of Objectivism, and a great admirer of the work of Dr. Nathaniel Branden, whose work deeply influenced and changed me.

I am a professional businessperson, acting as the Director of New Business Development for MCM Properties, LLC, in East Cleveland OH. We rehabilitate and operate apartment buildings in bad neighborhoods. We are also the owners of Euclid Square Mall, which we are in the process of revitalizing.

I am a lifelong musician, and compose and play guitar for my band, On The Air, which is a 5 piece rock unit consisting of guitar, electric violin, bass, drums, and lead vocals. We are recording an album, scheduled for release in '06.

My wife, soulmate, and best friend Vivian is also a business professional, and holds degrees in psychology, and organizational management. She is a fiery Irish woman, who, for all her strengths, can just barely keep me in line and pointed at the light.

The only main difference between myself and Objectivism is that my individual consciousness is a religious one. Meaning, I believe in higher levels of knowing than Objectivism acknowledges to exist. This generally makes for lively debate, although I long ago swore off the bloodsports.

If I were to identify one large world problem that I would like to help solve, it would be to mend the rift between science and religion.

My values are reason, reverence, freedom, and love.
