I so don’t see music or painting in this way. It reminds me of comparing a whale to a duck. Saying that music doesn’t have stories or figures is like saying that whales do not fly...its true but not exactly relevant. Hmmm, ducks and whales...that is what I keep coming back to. Ducks and whales, they do not go about existence in identical fashion rather they exist within their natures. So there you have it.

P.S. Do you think my post has too much of a Kandinskian flavor to it? Too abstract? Hmmm, perhaps more like Gauguin, because I am making a point, just in a flat, off-beat way.
