Thanks, again, Edward.  I'll give it a whirl. ...

The movie Cash McCall is often touted by Objectivists as not-too-bad.  (I tried Silas Latham, but after Pride and Prejudice, which, of course is world class, Silas Latham just turned into a slog.  I admire your tenacity as a reader with a goal.)

I have all of Cameron Hawley's books, and found the novels well worth reading, tho the self-doubting was a wee on the 'put-off' side... have yet to see the movie version of Executive Suite, tho intend getting it - Cash McCall has long been an interesting tho lightly dramatized version [hard to see Maverick as Cash McCall, to put it mildly], and the book is much more worth the reading...
