I have to say that I read the first Spidermans (belonging to others) and I fail to see that A versus Non-A absolutism...
I mean, maybe that is the draw of the series (and it continued, even as a parody of itself) that Peter Parker was supposed to think through his problem, but as Ditko left the writing, that never happened and 40 years later, Peter Parker is still dealing with the same unresolved issues...
Watching The Watchmen again (twice in fact), I did understand Rorschach more clearly from the Objectivist point of view. And, I did not see him as a parody of the Question Mark (a character I do not know), except in the sense of another failed parody: The Avengers.
Anyway... nice statement by Steve Ditko.
