Here's a very obscure sighting I came across a few years ago. It's not an especially significant sighting, however, I do find the thought that some Blizzard Entertainment employees may be Objectivists (or Objectivist-friendly) amusing.
Thanks for the sighting! "Who is John Galt?" has been within popular culture for two full generations now. Granted that the Bush-Obama bailouts in the wake of the mortgage meltdown really triggered a surge in sales, when you look at total book sales over time, it is the kind of thing that any literate person knows about, even if they never actually read the book. And when it comes to gamers, they revel in the social fringes, excel at arcania.
Just a note, though: when you said "Blizzard" I thought that you were referring to a fast food drink.
I've been a gamer for a long time, though, I had never realized that gamer's do revel in the obscure and esoteric matters. I feel that this little bit of insight just filled in a barren patch of my worldview. Thanks!
Lol, I just assumed everyone would know what I meant by "Blizzard". I rarely type out the full company name since I rarely encounter the need to do so. For clarity, I've added the full name.
