Not in synch.

See, I am out of synch, but in an ingroup kind of way. I have status. TLI called me the resident anarchist/relavist. That is not true: I am not a relativist. But, it is true that I am the resident <whatever>. Each of us who is a resident <whatever> has status.

Mr. Jeremy knew when he started that it would lead to this. The text between the lines fairly shouts it. Yet, if he returned, he would be the Resident Rejector: he rejected us before we could reject him back first. (Seize that status!)

I don't think he liked the fact that he was outed as Orion Reasoner. It opened up a ton of baggage that he would have to deal with and messed up the 'clean slate' he had in his new identity.
