Using eminent domain to hoist government land rather than private? That's a twist. Has this ever succeeded?

Don't know if this has ever come up in court.  My hunch is that it wouldn't get far, but it would be politically effective no less for that.  Kelo was technically a loss but politically a win.

I'd like to believe that the federal government would have to justify its "use" of the properties vs the economic "uses" proposed by the state. I am not a fan of eminent domain, but what is good for the goose...

Besides that, right now I am so thoroughly disgusted with the federal government that I'd gladly see 221 of these ... thrown into prison for crimes against the Constitution.

If all of our laws were just the only form in which Eminent Domain could exist would be for States to take land from the Federal government, or for citizens to force any level of government to relinquish lands they were holding without proper reasons.
