| | Yeah, but this kind of grammatical mistake is pretty common nowadays. If you listen to the media, you'll find that proper grammar is conspicuously missing from their commentaries. It's amazing to hear professional journalists who talk as if they never took a course in English grammar.
Students are no longer taught the basic rudiments of the subject. Diagramming sentences is a lost art; even people with advanced degrees don't speak proper English. How often have we heard educated people say, "It's him; he's the guy." Or, "It's me." Or: "Just between you and I." This kind of stuff is everywhere, so it'll probably pass unnoticed on the screen, although it does detract from the dialogue. Rand would not have made that kind of mistake, and it is a shame to see it in a movie version of her book.
