Linz, if you were really up with yoof cultcha you would realise that it is spelt 'chicks' not 'chics'.

Nice try though!

Aha! Jonathan! If *you* were up with *real* culture you'd realise it was a play on "chic."

That's my story & I'm sticking to it.

(Damn!)

ROTFL!!!

This is a ... er ... contemporary way of soliciting contributions to The Free Radical 65. Contributions are unpaid but invariably result in limitless nights of passion for contributors as out-of-control FreeRad groupies *hurl* themselves upon them. (I could elaborate with recent examples, but my lips are sealed.) So if you want to change your life for ever, or just want a decent bit of how's-your-father, submit to me by November 5. Submit your contributions also.

Msr. Perigo,

I... I... confess I am struck speechless.

Somehow I find the image of Linz puttin' it down on the 1&2 eerily disturbing.  "Linz" and "bling" are two terms that should be forever separated.

As for the kilt, he can borrow mine if he wishes.

Be forewarned though, Linz -- I had it made into a miniskirt.  I hope you have good legs.  ;)

Wasn't Ayn Rand herself known to sport a “bling” necklace on occasion? Seems to me that the term should be kept connected with all Objectivists.

Furthermore, given that the Star Wars Gangsta Rap has now been thoroughly perfected, isn't it about time that we saw some work done on the Atlas Shrugged Gangsta Rap?

Barbara, sometimes it's better not to know such things.  :)  "Bling bling" is a rap term for big, gaudy, expensive jewelry, which can be seen on the necks, wrists, fingers and ears of every major rap star.  It is a rite of passage for them to have the most diamond-encrusted platinum goodies as their money can buy.

Some things, however -- like class -- money cannot buy.

Oh, and "puttin' it down on the 1 & 2" is a d.j. (disk jockey) term for spinning records on two turntables.  I know entirely too much about this after producing a hip-hop tour for Mountain Dew.  Don't ask.

Yeesh, Mountain Dew and hip-hop. There's a match made in hell. I would have demanded hazard pay.

Andrew,

Are you saying that you have not, ever, even once in your life, done the Dew?

Just a thought. FreeRadical -- a bimonthly -- has already come out with its second issue since July. Meanwhile, The Navigator, a monthly, is still on its July/August issue, most of which is written by its chief-editor!!!

Has there been a terrorist attack in Poughkeepsie that I don't know about? Is anyone on the TOC staff alive
