Supreme Court: 2nd Amendment is an Individual Right

The Supreme Court handed down it's historic decision in the District of Columbia vs. Heller today. In a nutshell, individuals have the right to possess a firearm and to use it in self-defense. Irish people vote down EU "Constitutional Treaty"

When France & Holland voted down the EU Constitution, rules called for it to be dropped. Unhindered, the Eurocrats redubbed the same sovereignty stripper as a "treaty" requiring no popular vote. Except in Ireland, whose constitution mandates a popular vote. Once again, Ireland has saved Europe from the barbarians.(Read more...)
