It is great to see that the viewership seems to be increasing fairly steadily. Thanks for all the work, you guys.

Heartiest congrats to the entire SoloHQ team on your first birthday. I think you can be proud of your achievement in creating a fresh, vibrant, stimulating and addictive site.

This came up as a random article -- and I couldn't let it slip by. Highlights from Jeff's 2003 post:

------------------------------------------------------

" ... in the last year have added 291[articles] -- averaging more than 5 per week ... "

We now add twice -- or more -- articles per week!
------------------------------------------------------

"Total page views = 444,408 [over one year]"

This number approximates our currently MONTHLY "page hits" value (the traffic we noted over one year's time is similar to what we now get in a mere month -- we are roughly 12 times as popular, or "populace-engaging," as we were just 2 short years ago)!

Or today? Comparing this site to Objectivist Living, Objectivism Online, For Rand Fans, SOLO Passion, and Noodle Food, and contrasting all of those with Galt's Gulch Online, it clear that conformity is stultifying.

That then raises the issue of quantity versus quality. However, Jeff Landauer's annual report did not offer a metric for quality. I am not sure that one exists. It is clear to me that the Articles here far eclipse almost everything else on the other sites. Very few posts elsewhere are more than quips and rejoinders. We do have those, also, of course, but here we have more far more original works.
