Teresa, I double your YES and raise it one.

FINALLY!!!! ...A HALF CENTURY.

Great, great news!!!

A small indie picture just may make sense somehow, not a Hollywood extravaganza. Also in something small, with largely unknowns and only a few 'cooks' you may not have the tug-of-war between a lot of big egos which has damaged so much of what Hypewood does....we'll see.

I'm a little worried about the cast. They seem a bit too young, but we'll see. We'll see.

I hope there'll be some cast interviews soon.

Would be nice, but I won't hold my breath that Entertainment Tonight will be doing any. That show sucks eggs, anyway.

Some involved seem to have a soap-operaish background.

It would be disastrous if the movie is directed or done "too broad". I.e., overacted or too hammy or too melodramatic or emotionally florid in an adolescent style in the way that daytime (and evening) soaps are done on tv. Taylor Schilling did that a bit in "Mercy". I have never seen an episode of "One Tree Hill", though.

One thing I've liked about productions done by British actors and directors is they tend a bit less to do this (other than in some PBS comedy). I suspect it comes (in part) from having had a better education than the public schools in this country.

Cameras do not "role" -- they "roll."

Otherwise, great news!

In this case, perhaps they 'role' too... ;-)

TSI: "I'm a little worried about the cast. They seem a bit too young, but we'll see. We'll see. "

When I first read Atlas, at 16, Dagny seemed old at 32 and Hank Rearden at 45 over the hill.  As I re-read Atlas over the years, they got younger.  I was astounded that a girl of 32 could run a railroad.

When you see the movie, don't forget your glasses and hearing aid, Grannie.

LOL, Mike...

After I wrote that, I looked the cast up. I've changed my mind.
