| | CEO's have their unions and their collusions and their price-fixing. Wal-Mart has purchased the federal and local governments, to get special zoning privileges and entire zoning ordinances changed, so they can have the choicest locations and unfair advantages that almost nobody else has.
Yet Wal-Mart and other such pseudo-capitalist, feudalistic monoliths are cheered and lauded by Objectivist societies such as ARI, TOC, and SOLO. This despite the violation of laissez-faire. Wow, you're just completely, astoundingly wrong here. For instance, see the discussion that followed my own article about Wal-Mart here. Some of Wal-Mart's shadier practices were brought up and condemned, including their use of eminent domain.
(Somehow, I doubt Daniel will actually follow that link. After all, it might puncture his dearly-held belief that Objectivism is nothing but a pathology looking for an excuse!)
