Announcing "Holding Court" with Barbara Branden!
Posted by Lindsay Perigo on 5/31, 1:19am

I'm couldn't be more delighted to announce a new feature here on SOLOHQ—Holding Court, a weekly column in which Barbara Branden responds to your questions. Barbara has more to say about this in her article below. All I would like to add is my hope that you'll ensure Majesty has no shortage of questions to answer, and t... (Read more...)

FreeRad 67
Posted by Lindsay Perigo on 5/07, 7:06pm

The next FreeRad, due on June 1, has been postponed till July 1 because of the disruption to my schedule in the wake of SOLOC 4. This means that anyone wishing to submit an article now has until June 1 to get it to me. SOLOC 4 will feature prominently in the issue, which will include a selection from the apparently inc... Executive Update for April, 2005
Posted by Joseph Rowlands on 5/02, 5:59pm

Some of you may have noticed that SOLO was effectively down for a week.  All of the moderators were at SOLOC4, and we had too much fun to log in and add articles or any other work.  And of course we came back to a pile of hate mail accusing us of censoring people (not letting their posts go through the moderator queue ... SOLOC 4 attendees - please submit your comments about your experiences (!) on this thread, for the edification of everyone here & for inclusion in a FreeRad feature. I'll be adding my own when I get home (posting this from James'). For now, let me just say that to call it a "blast" would be an horrendous understatement... (Read more...)

How to be a piker from SOLOC 4 & avoid the lowest rung of hell! If you're one of those otherwise irredeemable whim-worshipping subjectivist intrinsicist dogmatist altruist collectivist headbanging caterwauling mystic Saddamite Newberry groupies who've failed to register for SOLOC 4, here's your one way to shorten your ... Last Orders, Folks!
Posted by Lindsay Perigo on 4/14, 4:12am

SOLOC 4 begins Friday, April 22. All rooms in the house we have rented are booked. Other attendees are staying at nearby dosshouses. Now, I shall say this once only. Anyone planning on gatecrashing & not paying, on the grounds that they're just "dropping by" (not that any SOLOists would try pulling a stunt like... (Read more...)

Posted by Joseph Rowlands on 3/02, 1:56am

Sorry for the delay in the update.  Recently we were informed by our server host that our site traffic has increased so much, we're straining the processing power on the server.  For the last few days I've been enhancing the software to be more efficient.  You might see smaller delays on some pages, but most of the tim... Enough of this holiday malingering! I haven't yelled at you these past few weeks, as the stock of SOLOHQ articles has dwindled, because I know everyone's been immersed in sand, Sauvignon, sex & surf. Next Free Radical & Other Stuff
Posted by Lindsay Perigo on 11/19/2004, 12:16am

Recently I fired the distributors of 'The Free Radical,' Gordon & Gotch, for ongoing, terminal incompetence.
